Let the Series Begin! - Halloween Part 1

My apologies, but I can't find the cord that plugs the camera into the freakin' computer.  This is sad because what I made, were FANTASTIC, GOOEY, CINNAMONY, SUGARY, SWEET, GOODNESS that is shaped into tiny little pumpkins and what I like to call, Lil' Monsters.
So!
Here's the recipe:

Notes: Now, what I did was I took maybe a handful of the dough after I mixed it all together, and I put that handful in a small bowl.  I used some green food coloring and turned the dough green.
After I had made the rest of the dough, the plain colored ones, and rolled them into the cinnamon-sugar mix and flattened them out, I took a tiny bit of the green dough and made a tiny stem and stuck them on each plain, coated, cookie.  Voila!  But, and here are the Lil' Monsters, I had three cookies worth of extra green dough and rolled them in the sugar-cinnamon mix and made them into cookies themselves.  Tasty.

That's it!  :D

Breakfast -
1 Multi-Grain English Muffin with 2 teaspoons of Almond Butter - my first time eating this.  SOOOOOOOOOOO good!
Kashi Almond and Flax Seed Granola Bar

Lunch -
Smoothie
5 Whole Foods Red Licorice

Snack(s) -
4 Sugar Cookies
Piece of 80% Dark Chocolate
Handful of Kashi Autumn Wheat Cereal
2 Chunks of Bread

Dinner -
Very Vegan Personal Pizza from Pizza Fusion with no Roasted Garlic but Basil yummmmmmmm

I had hoped for a bunch of veggies for lunch, been craving that besides pizza and shrooms (I call mushrooms), but we had none :'( hehe

So it is Halloween. Mmmm... I am not going out, but I have a Venetian Mask on with a BIG peacock feather on the side of my head.  So pretty.

Trick-or-Treaters????
My town said no, but there are a few out.  - Stupid trees and fallen wires -_-

Have a tasty Halloween!

I will get the cord later...

"How much pain they have cost us, the evils which have never happened." - Thomas Jeffereson

I am in utter shock... Speechless.  I just watched, not even a minute, of a preview of Meet Your Meat , and I am writing this post because now, I just... if I watched more of it I'd cry.  And I want to watch it more.  I want to be reviled because it will help deepen my perspective maybe.  Now this doesn't mean I am going to stop wearing leather, I mean I don't wear fur, but you know, I am not going that far, but I feel that could change the world, just that preview, if more saw it.
Netflix should have it.
But it doesn't.
Sigh.

Now here's a thought:  Vegans don't like any type of animal "cruelty," but not all of what is happening on farms and in hunting is cruelty.  The cruelty is happening in the government owned "farms" which are really just cages, factories, and prisons.  At least in hunting you aren't allowed to kill an animal unless over a certain age, and you can't let the animal go on injured.  You must kill it because you aren't allowed to leave it in pain.  Now that would be cruelty if you left it consciously, but if you lost the trail?  Let's hope a carnivore found it or hope it died quickly.
Why would our government hurt these animals?
Why???
These thoughts make my eyes feel like they are going to water over soon, but let's keep things in perspective...or am I just making a better fantasy if I do that?
The government is doing this just because it is cheaper.  So many mouths to feed in this country and so much abuse, practical, slow, murder is the way to get it to our plates.  I am thoroughly disgusted and I am not sorry to share these thoughts and views with meat-lovers.  Any converts tonight?
Look at Michelle Obama.  She is growing her own garden and doesn't have any chemicals in it!  And here the rest of the government are putting chemicals in our food!  And in an inhumane and selfish way!  Cheaper=Selfish.  Chemicals & Hormones that carry disease=Murder to the country.  Or at least, shortening of the life and probably causes the body to deteriorate faster.  Eck.
Did you know I haven't once gotten sick since I became a Veg?  :D Thumbs up!  And here my friends are, missing school because of colds, stomach aches, and other common sicknesses.
I just learned Bush was pushing torture...(the president).
I don't want to be disappointed in my government, but I am and that isn't right.  And right now, I feel like my feet should be on fire as they touch this American ground.  I am proud of other government areas, but others, obviously, not so much.
Absolutely speechless...writing my thoughts done as a way to let it out...fantastic.
I am going to see if Meet Your Meat is within my reach tomorrow so I can watch it.
Stupid Netflix...

Also, heads up, tomorrow starts what I added to, the Four Post Series About Vegan Holiday Treats, Meals, and Whatever I Can Get My Hands On.  :) I am only making one thing tomorrow because I completely forgot about the Series idea!  Arrghhh!  So, the recipe is filled with things in this house, and I would assume everyone would too :))
Be ready!

"Sometimes looking back on what you had, motivates you to keep moving forward...there's a reason why you left, keep going."

As I looked at some things on the internet this morning, a thought popped into my head that comes in every once in a while.  What would happen if I ever ate meat again?

A family member who was a Vegetarian for a few months said he was in pain when he went back to eating meat...during his...bowel movements...
So that obviously grossed me out.
Anyway, so I looked up some effects of eating meat when going back on a meat-based diet, and just a few articles about the side-effects of eating meat.

*Sigh in relief* Good

Disgusting. Meat Eaters Beware.

I found this interesting.

This eased me a little... just in case. A safety net if you will.

The Grass-Fed saviors

Let the hunting begin!

Mmmm...

Romantic, eh?

My food. Your food.

No one should think this way of all Veggies! And Veggies shouldn't HATE meat eaters either! That Vegan couple, maybe they didn't know what to do! That isn't fair or right, yeah. Vegetarians - the ones you hate give others a bad name. You believe what you believe, and I believe what I believe, and we can share our beliefs, but we don't need to believe each other.

When was Fall? Was I asleep?

Okay, first of all, it is snowing if anyone has noticed.  12-14 inches maybe; till tomorrow afternoon.  Well, at least my family and I like snow :) even if trees are falling everywhere.
So, digital feis.  How'd I do?  I really hope I am going to become a Novice, because then I can get a solo dress :) Plus, I just want to move up.

During my dances, my new soft shoes were coming off of my heels and they were WAY too tight on my toes... Anyway, during my slip-jig my shoe was half way off my right foot, but I kept dancing and I think that was my best dance because when I turned around, my teacher had a very big smile on her face.  Later, after my light jig, I thought of how happy I was dancing for just 2: 20 seconds.  Either it was the music and the dance, or the numbness in my toes was effecting my thinking... Let's hope the first one :)

Tonight is some cooking.  I will post the recipe, but I am not cooking it.  It isn't Vegan, but that is only because of the cheese that is supposed to go on it, but I asked for it to be on the side.
I got Soy Dogs today because I was craving a hot dog or something with mustard.  I was really craving Sausages but my dad and I were rushing to get me to the feis on time.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited for the results!  I hope we get them soon :))

Bloody... this snow is scary :( Stupid trees keep falling.... Broke our fence.... Crud... My mum let my dog out for a moment, and while they were out, two fell.  Then, a few minutes ago, a branch fell on a wire across the street and made a tiny explosion!  Freaked.  Out.

My Opinion...Not Yours...

I finally made the collards!  I was so looking forward to them, but I discovered yesterday, that Garam Marsala is not my favorite smell or taste.  Anyway, Collard Greens recipes.  If you enjoy it, please tell me.  Or, if you did anything different to get rid of the awful smell, please tell me :).  That wasn't a very good impression to that recipe, so sorry, but I do have another one.
My own, similar to the original smoothie.

1 Frozen Banana
(3) Ice Cubes
A little smaller than a handful of (Vegan) Chocolate Chips
A little less than 1/4 cup Plain Soymilk

Blend and serve

I wanted something different, but I couldn't do no chocolate... and I didn't want peanut butter or almond butter, so I couldn't find anything else so I made it more banana-ey by having less chocolate chips.  Still really great.  Enjoy.

Feis tomorrow.  Will I go to Novice?  :) Got new hard shoes... I have really small feet! But thankfully, I am not using those to dance in on Sat. because I am not Novice yet.  One slip-jig, one reel, and one single jig.  Excited.

Did you know Panera bread has REALLY good apples?  Well, they do.  I suggest you get that next time instead of the bread.

Still Waiting...

Sadly I won't be getting the two new recipes up for a few more days... I think there should be pictures with them :)
What I ate:
Breakfast: The norm - oatmeal with a mushed banana
Lunch: 4 Organic Twizzlers, an apple, Kashi Pumpkin Granola Bar
Dinner: A Smoothie - not with fudge, the regular, and another Bean Burger - which, BTW I cooked a little longer than what I had been doing; made it more crispy :) Yumm

I don't have much to write about today... Didn't and haven't done anything new... Maybe I should do the Collards tomorrow but I need to get my homework done first, but then I have a church thing... I just don't want the Collards to go bad or the tomatoes... How depressing.
Let's post a video:
My favorite song by Rise Against
Something pretty

That's the best I can come up with... Maybe tomorrow. Sorry for the boring post :(

An Extremely Early Dinner

One use for the "Fudge": Smoothie :)

1 Frozen Banana
A few chunks of Frozen Fudge
Maybe 1/3 cup Regular Soymilk

Blend and serve
Makes 1 serving.

Yeah, I had a very early dinner... I was going to cook some Collard Greens tonight from a recipe I had, but maybe that'll be next Friday since I have something Mon, Tuesday, maybe Wed, and Thursday.  - Technically everyday.
Where are the pictures from last nights' dinner?
I am not sure I can put them up tonight - taking pictures of some things we are going to sell.  Plus, my parents are using it too so...

I also had a picture of the first shots of the season on a target... Got better towards the end but wow... Bad... My consistence was good though: Bottom right hand corner.  Lost an arrow though.  Down to six plus two with no tips.

So, when will I cook again?  Hopefully soon.  I also found another cookie recipe and I have all the ingredients!  They were everything I used for the fudge!

Quick Post

So this is going to have to be really quick because my dad and I are going to the shooting range.  I had two sliders for lunch from the leftovers of last night - I put some chopped green peppers on top too; it added a new freshness but is not needed.
Remember how I said I messed up big time on a cookie recipe yesterday?  Okay well, since I didn't want to waste the blogs of melted applesauce but mostly chocolate, I froze it.  It has been sitting over night, and I took it out to take a bite... It was the best thing ever!  It tasted and had the texture of fudge!  Sweet, chocolaty, smooth, and creamy, it also was nutty.  Very good.

Messed-Up Vegan "Fudge"
1/2 Vegan Butter
Maybe a cup Unsweetened Applesauce
1 cup Vegan Chocolate Chips
1/8 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 - 1 cup Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3 tablespoons water...

Preheat Oven to 375
Use a non-stick baking sheet

With a food processor, "whip" the water and applesauce

In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla

Add the applesauce-mixture in the large bowl and thoroughly combine

In small, very small bowl, mix the remaining dry ingredients except chocolate chips.

Gradually beat the flour mixture into the wet mixture until it begins to form a dough - leave a little watery

When it is almost thoroughly combined, add chocolate chips

Bake for 8 - 10 minutes

Let most of the watery-drippings drain off the sheet and into a sink
Let cool a little
Then put in a container and freeze

:) Original Plan Recipe

"4 1/2 teaspoons Ener-G Egg Substitute
6 Tbls water
1 cup Vegan Butter
3/4 cup Sugar
3/4 light brown sugar
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 1/4 unbleached all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups semi-sweet Vegan Chocolate Chips

Preheat over 375
In the food processor whip the Ener-G Egg Substitute and Water until creamy.
In a large bowl, cream butter, vanilla, sugar, and brown sugar.
Add the egg replacer mixture to this wet one and thoroughly combine.
In a separate bowl, combine remaining dry ingredients except chocolate chips.
After, gradually beat the flour mixture into the wet mixture until it begins to form a dough.
When it is almost thoroughly combined, add chocolate chips.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown
Let stand for 2 minutes; move to wire rack to cool completely."

Mmmm... The Treasures You Can Find On A Blog

I am not even hungry, but I have been in the kitchen since 4 o'clock. My dinner, it is a gift from another blog.  It was the best burger I have ever had!  Meat or not-meat - Amazing.  My dad and I like olives, but I wasn't in the mood to put that ingredient in my patty, and my mom doesn't like them at all, so my dad had two with them.  Either way they were awesome.  With these, I made fries too - I will post their recipe tomorrow or sometime with pictures of tonight.
So I have $12 in my wallet, looking for a good Vegan cookbook or Vegan Health book for Teens... Good ideas?  Or must I look alone? ;)
Besides burgers and fries to go with a pub night for the Bruins game, I tried to make Vegan cookies...I had one this morning from Whole Foods, split it with my dad, it was awesome and I had a recipe for cookies, but it was my first time figuring out what a Egg Replacement was... had to look up what they were in the aisle at Whole Foods... later, let's just say the cookies weren't successful... But when I get them right, because I will! I shall post the recipe :)
Just in a different direction, I was reading our State's workbook for Hunting.  I am on chapter 3.  Did you know black bears aren't true hibernators?
Anyway, tomorrow I am making a Collard Greens recipes from Whole Foods as well.  Now let's hope that turns out right :)
As of a few seconds ago, I had a good idea:  I am going to try and do a Three Part Series for a Teen on a Vegan Holiday.  What am I going to eat?  How am I going to react to my first time during these holidays when I am surrounded by meat-eaters when I am no longer one myself?  And how are my family members going to react when some of them haven't seen me for the first time since last year?
Aw, my dog is laying on my dad's side... Very cute :)
Anyway, very excited now.  Going shooting tomorrow... Need to get a more accurate shot besides being consistent.
For the next Bruins game I should make Chili... maybe with Cornbread :)
Good idea... going to look for Chili recipes now.
Because how can you go wrong with Chili?
Ohh....With Venison chunks in it...that'd be good.

"You can lead me to the bloodbath, but you can't make me drink"

For me this means - You can tell me what you believe, tell me what's right, and I can stand back and accept what you think is the correct way to live, but you can't make me believe that all you're saying is true.

So, this post will be on my tale of a Vegetarian.

Or in other words, what I think about living this lifestyle.

PETA - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals

or - People Eating Tasty Animals.

:) I, the Veg, am laughing at the second.  Good job whoever came up with it - too lazy to look myself.
So what I think is, is that some Vegans/Vegetarians go a little extreme.  I understand with the clothes and what not, but to protest?  To think that killing animals isn't correct?

Animals can live great lives, they will die at one point, and yeah, they have feelings, so do we!  People still murder, and that isn't right either, but my point being is that animals were created originally as companions, but when sin entered the world, they were made for food.  Our bodies have been evolving for years to get use to tearing at the animal flesh we now eat, but obviously, some us choose not to eat them.

We were originally Vegetarians, but don't you think we were still allowed to have milk and honey?  Remember the Land of Milk and Honey?  Obviously we are supposed to eat it, but no, I don't have many dairy products, but I love honey, only, it is organic.  You can have dairy, meat, and honey and fish but free-range, raised in a good place and way, you don't need to have it when it was gotten with abuse or chemicals.

Also, if you could get an animal in the most humane way to me, it'd be hunting.  I can be Vegan and Hunt.  Why not?  I am the Hunting-Vegan.  I don't have any shame in killing the animal, but I would like to kill it on the first shot and not let it die in too much pain.  Who ever said death is painless?  Death is different for everyone, and if you let the animal die from old age, wouldn't it be...different?  Like, wouldn't the meat be less...tender if that is a good wonder?  Anyway, there are those who don't eat meat from markets but they eat meat that ONLY they themselves hunt and kill, or from a market that the people who work there go and hunt and kill the meat themselves as well.  That was what I was originally planning, but obviously my direction went elsewhere; deeper into this new diet.

Overall, I believe that you can be a little too extreme, even if you love animals with all your soul and being, but there is also line where cruelty should be illegal.  There should be a time when arguments over animals killing other animals should be labeled as "Pathetic" because they are.  How else are the animals going to live and eat?  Are they going to convert too to Vegetarianism?  I don't think so.  Their instincts tell them otherwise.  Other arguments, like wolves killing farmers animals and the wolves being driven to practical-extinction to stop them should stop as well - the farmers should just get better protection.  I stand with that answer, and so many more!  Animals do have rights, but until the time when they can truly say "I don't want to die that way or die at all," I believe we just need to try and get more people to kill in a more humane way.  No one needs to agree with me, but I hope I changed some views.
So why am I a Veg?
Because I am in a way protesting that they shouldn't be killed so badly, but I will be an example of killing an animal in the most humane way I know and cook it for someone else till I can stop gagging at the thought that they aren't usually killed this way.
Will I be a Vegetarian my whole life?
I think this is a health decision as well, but again, as long as they aren't being treated the way they should be, watch me take a life the way they should be.  Watch me as I try and not make them suffer.  Watch me, a teenage girl who six months ago had the idea that she'd eat everything she killed, change her mind but still kill, and tell all of those who ask me "Why?" the most disgusting, horrific, actions that factories and inhumane farms are doing to our food and actual living creatures.

Thanksgiving? Halloween? Birthday? What to eat!!!!!!!

"What do vegans eat for Thanksgiving?  Do they carve a block of tofu into a turkey?"
Yes, what do Vegans eat for Thanksgiving?  Lots of choices of course!
Yesterday I spent at least two hours looking at recipes for different things.  Thanksgiving, Halloween, treats, Holiday dishes, and random recipes related to that.
My mom and I both started wondering what to bring to Thanksgiving when we visit my family.  We wondered, "Are we just going to have the sweet potatoes, vegetables, crackers, bread, and sides?"  I hope not.  I found so many recipes, like from PETA, of just everything.  What I am thinking, is to make a Black Bean Chili or a Butternut Squash Casserole since my mum doesn't like beans... but they have become my weakness :)
Also, I am now looking at Halloween recipes too.  I found scary cookies, cupcakes, treats, ect.  All tasty looking :) I want to try them all!  As for my birthday, which is going to be coming up very soon, I am having it with some friends.  I should make some Vegan things as well.  Two of my friends that are coming, my two best guy friends, can eat a whole pizza by themselves if not two!  So, I need to get one SAUSAGE pizza for them and 1 - 2 plain ones for my girly friends.  As for me, SALAD lol boring.... whatever... dessert will be better with Assorted Cartoon Character Cupcakes and S'mores!  But for that, I don't think I will be cooking but I would like to cook for my REAL, on the day, b-day.  Exciting.  Extended family sadly, won't eat Vegan,  let alone Vegetarian, bad experiences, so the meal will just be for my parents and I... The more the better for us :) Sucks for the those who are missing it.  (Yes, I am so sure that it will be a good meal because I haven't had a bad one yet, except for one that I got at a restaurant but that doesn't count!  I didn't make it!  - It was a Portobello burger... too plain...the mushroom taste, and don't think this is stupid 'cause I understand that is what it is, but it tasted TOO mushroomy...You didn't have any other flavor :( )

When we get to Halloween, I am going to try and make at least 2 - 3 recipes that I find.  - starting to follow some other Vegan blogs; The Spooky Vegan and what-not.

Does anyone know any Vegan MINI Ghost Cupcakes?  They just look so adorable and everything is better mini anyway :)

The Shame of the Day:
I walked to the garbage in homeroom today with chewed remains of a chocolate chip muffin...I should have had a cone around my head ;( haha.  After I spit it out, since my friend made me guilty, sigh, some of it slid down my throat unconsciously.  Shame on me.

BTW Good Halloween music is by Arnold Schoenberg... his music scares the crap out me...seriously.  Or at least, what I heard.  After two songs I had to turn it off and switch to "Paradise" as quickly as possible!

A New Direction

Today, or for the past few days, I have decided that I should focus my writing on two things: Irish Dancing and Vegetarianism/Veganism - trying go Vegan...maybe...as much as possible.  Anyway, right now I am trying to find cheap Vegan recipes - finding many.  I am doing this because my parents gave me the idea that if I could food shop for myself $30 or less, which is really hard for me... I could get any money that they didn't spend in the $30 dollar budget.  For example, if I spent $26.50, I would $3.50 back.  I want to be able to go a little under that budget especially because I think it would be a very cool idea to get a phone that has internet and a camera so I can blog wherever I go.  So, when I go to Boston or wherever, I can tell you all what I am eating that is Vegetarian/Vegan friendly :) with a picture!  Or I can take pictures of whatever feis I am at at the time.  Simple.  So back to the phone, I want to be able to pay the $50 something a month.  But, in a good way, this isn't urgent.

http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/recipes/2990
That looks good :)  Maybe I'll try this first.

Did I mention I am cooking again on Saturday the 22nd?  New recipes.  2!  I am making it feel like a pub night even though my parents were slow to catch on... A veggie burger with oven fries.  Yum.  (The veggie burger is from the "Eat, drink, & be vegan" blog I follow.)  Very excited. I specifically chose that night because it is, in fact, a Bruins game.  Good times.

"Sweet Caroline Good times never seemed so good Sweet Caroline I believed they never could Sweet Caroline"

"Sweet Caroline"

This is now all going back to the New England project.  I was extremely excited about it and I was probably getting very annoying but too bad for my group :).  We are going to sing "Sweet Caroline" and have a clay figure of the Old Man.  Besides that, Veggie wise, meals of the day... yes I did have dinner already... I was hungry -
Breakfast: Oatmeal and Granola Bar
Lunch: Lollipop(s), Apple, and something else... I forget hehe
Dinner: Black Bean burger, sweet potato fries, and some green stuff that seemed to be avocado smashed with some weird spice, but it was all good.  I am also drinking Cosmic Cranberry Kombuha.  Yum.  Also, I am going to try a new shake in the morning tomorrow: Chocolate Vega Shake :)  Hope it goes well.

The Irish of the Day:
Watching my dance recital from last year.  It looks really amazing, and I remember what to do too :) Good day.
I also can do boxes now too!  (Irish Dance thing)

Now a Random Thought:
I like Adele, my dad likes Adele, but now, we both LIKED Adele.  My mom runs to her every morning now since we got rid of hearing her Celine Dion for a few months almost everyday, but we found her annoying after MONTHS too... Adele has only be a week, and already her songs pop into my head at very random times in the day!  I listened to one song, "Savior," all morning and on the way to school, hoping that it would be stuck in my head all day, but no, Adele HAD to get stuck in my head at one point...  Thankfully, "Sweet Caroline" was a good replacement to Adele's album of 21 which helped me to NOT go crazy or jump off a cliff.  Later, I told my mom I wanted to go shoot myself in the foot.  Sigh.  Thankfully, she wants Within Temptation to start being in her "mix" of every few months... Sadly though, it isn't burning to any blank disks.  Crap.  Wish me and my dad luck.

(Cystic Fibrosis... I think - some kid in my school had surgery today so we all had something purple)

"Pick yourself up Dust yourself off and back in the saddle...You've got it all Believe it...When you fall get up oh oh...Today's your day I feel it"

OFFICIALLY x2 was dance today.  I had it.  It was awesome, funny, amazing, and felt like a breath of fresh air.  I learned a group dance that I missed, we learned a new step that it really pretty, and when we did warm-ups, my over-two-three's felt like a tightness was in my legs, and when I jumped it was like a stretch and took the cramp out.  - Relief.

Now, I need to go... :(

.... Tomorrow I won't leave.

Crap, they kicked me out!  I got to dance, and my mom and me talked to my teacher, but then she said that I should only go to the one class till January, and then I could go to all three.  Sigh, at least I wasn't late to youth group again... ;)
Watching "Wayne's World" never seen it... Interesting...

"So lying underneath those stormy skies She'd say, 'oh ohohohoh I know the sun must set to rise' This could be para-para-paradise"

Today was a good day.  Good meals - oatmeal with banana, apple, pretzels, INSTANT noodles, lollipops, cookies, Medjool dates, and grapes plus stuff...  :)) Going back to dance OFFICIALLY tonight, though only for an hour, then tomorrow, two hours of dance :))  After dance, I am going to youth group.  Very exciting, I know.
Well, today was good besides food -
Listened to Paradise by Coldplay x5 + times (like right now :)
Had good classes - music I wasn't doing very great... My friend had her phone... I was sadly distracted by making fun of her hehe.
I got a compliment on my writing which was really cool
I am part of a NEW ENGLAND group in my History class
And finally, I am going to dance again.

BTW to all Bruins fans - or New England people :)

he's always watching.

Anyway, my official diet I think, is a Lacto-ovo Vegetarian because of certain things like muffins and cookies... Shame on me... Plus, cheese and bread... Addictive.

Anyway, did I mention I am moving?  Haha one town over though, in five? four? years New Hampshire.  Very exciting too.

"When she was just a girl
She expected the world
But it flew away from her reach so
She ran away in her sleep
And dreamed of
Para-para-paradise, Para-para-paradise, Para-para-paradise
Every time she closed her eyes

Got to go, dance.

It's Been Awhile

I suppose you all are starting to worry about me right?  Sweet :)
Update: Injury gone but still no dancing till next Tuesday.  I am also missing the feis on Saturday :(
I have finally started my Irish Solo Dress Savings!  I am at... $50 (+) I think.  Sad amount, but good start.  I have at least $750 to go.  Plus, I want to get a custom dress so $700 to that, and the $100 to shipping and what not.

"Simplified Almond Butter Banana Shake
vegan, serves 2

1 3/4 cups almond milk or soymilk, vanilla flavor
2 large frozen bananas, ripe
2 heaping Tbsps almond butter
1/3 cup ice
1/4 tsp cinnamon
garnish: roasted almonds"

I had this for breakfast this morning to try something else besides my AWESOME BANANA smoothie recipe :).  It was very good but I used 4 ice cubes and plain soymilk with a little bit more cinnamon than called for since I didn't measure it, and 2 teaspoons of Almond butter with no garnish.  YUM.
Anyway, I found new musik to listen to as well - Eisblume my new favorite [German] band!
